If you know anything about me, you know I am obsessive. This also goes for celebrities, of whom which are obsessed over one at a time. They also become my phone’s lock screen.

Celebrity Crushes: 2016-Present

Eddie Redmayne: Dec. 11- Feb. Something

This crush was caused by the wonderful “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.” He’s an Oscar-winning actor and adorkable. Unfortunately, not everyone agreed with me. I almost started a war: Diego Luna vs Eddie Redmayne. Yes, both are adorable and loveable, and I do NOT want to start that again, so don’t go crazy in the comments, please. I was such a hardcore fan, to the extent that I followed HUNDREDS of boards labeled with his name. Thank God that ended. (I’m still a Redmaniac, but not as hardcore. Leaving a fandom is IMPOSSIBLE. If you think you left one, you weren’t in it.) This was the crush that caused all my friends to groan whenever they hear I have a new celebrity obsession. My screensaver was changed to his face for this entire period.

Dylan O’Brien: March 2nd- April 28th

Though I still swoon when I see a picture of him, my Dylan period sprouted from Pinterest. Soon after, I started watching Teen Wolf and reading the Maze Runner. He’s got the greatest personality, and you’ll probably hear more about him from Molly. Also, my friendship with Molly went up, like, 100000000000000000000 times because of Dylan. I also followed HUNDREDS of boards with his name in the title. He also was my screensaver for a while, even after I had changed my celebrity crush. He’s also an amazing self-taught actor.

Rickie Fowler: April 6-16th

This one was mostly because I had to stare at his face for three days in a row. This pro golfer caught my attention during the 2017 Masters Tournament. He’s considered the “Arnold Palmer” (look him up, super cool and amazing guy. RIP) of the young people. He’s, like, the only hot one on tour. He’s also got nice biceps. He was never on my screensaver. My dad, however, noticed I thought he was cute while we were watching the game. It was embarrassing but hilarious. It went a little like this.

Dad (in the kitchen): KAITLYN WHO IS ON TV RIGHT NOW?

Me (way too cheerfully): Rickie

Dad: You think he’s cute, don’t you?

Me: …

Dad (to my mom): Honey! Katie’s got a new celebrity crush!

Me: *facepalm

Andrew Garfield: April 28th- Present

I don’t understand how ANYONE can look at that last gif and not fall in love with Andrew. He was also born from Pinterest. Before you could even say “obsessed,” I had made him my screensaver, watched both Spider-Man movies, seen every trailer for every movie he’s been in, marveled over scenes from Hacksaw Ridge (the film he was nominated Best Actor for), watched all of his short films, and made plans to see a movie he stars in that comes out in October. Dear God, he’s hot. Also, he and Emma Stone were the CUTEST COUPLE EVER. I wish they hadn’t broken up, but whatever. I also bonded with Molly over him.

Thomas Brodie-Sangster: May 22- Present

Okay, I know that was a lot of pictures, but I HAD to include all of them. I mean, these pictures are kind of self-explanatory, but he’s SUPER HOT. Also, he’s super sweet, talented, friendly, and single. He is so committed to acting that he learned to play the guitar left handed, put a rock in his shoe to remind himself his character has a limp, shaved his head, and shaved his eyebrows all for the sake of making his character the best they could be. He also plays my favorite character ever, Newt, from the Maze Runner Series. (James Dashner will PAY for page 250). I also ADORE his accurate portrayal of Mama Noot in the films. The short film, My Left Hand Man, is another great work of his. He’s British, making 2.5 of my crushes listed here British, because Andrew Garfield was born in LA, but grew up in GB.
