I watch this show that gives me butterflies in my stomach every time I watch it. It’s called Miraculous Ladybug and it’s basically about these two people who both have frustrating lives. Marinette, one of the important people, is a clumsy girl who never does anything right. Adrian, the other main character, is a poor cinnamon roll whose father constantly neglects him and forces him to live a life of disappointment (I love that cinnamon roll)! Marinette has a crush on Adrian, but the first day of school she absolutely hated him for being Chloe’s (a girl who is the most hated girl in everyone’s life and is basically the cause of acuma attacks which I will explain later) friend. Chloe put gum on Marinette’s seat and cinnamon roll was trying to clean it up. Later in the day, at pickup, it was raining and cinnamon’s ride was here. He was telling Marinette his life’s troubles and how he’s never been to a real school. He hands her his umbrella and she instantly falls in love, but he thinks of her as a friend. So, there’s this really really old guy (he could actually just be Yoda) feels a disturbance in the force. His kwami (a magical creature that never dies and has been around since the beginning of time and is also like a genie bc they sleep in a piece of jewelry/accessory and wake up when that person wears it; they also give that person powers) says that something is wrong with one of the kwamis (yes there are more than one). The old kwami master decides to find someone worthy enough to give two kwamis to. Marinette happens to be walking to school when old guy needs help getting up in the middle of the street. She rushes in to save him before he gets hit and he sneaks a kwami in her back pack. Adrian also helps him get his cane back and he sneaks a kwami in his bag too. When they get home from a rough day at school they find the small genies and they come to life. Marinette’s kwami, Tikki, tells her that she’s a magical creature not a flying rat. Adrian’s kwami, Plagg, asks for food as he asks him if he’s a genie. They find out that they are meant to be superheroes and that the kwamis help them do that. Marinette doesn’t want to be b/c she is a klutz and Adrian is excited. Someone is in trouble! Kwamis tell them that they transform by saying,” Tikki spots on!” Or,” Plagg, claws out!!!” So they transform and Marinette is scared and confuzzled while Adrian looks as if he’s been doing it for as long as old guy. “With the powers of a superhero comes a really frustrating love square.” -Spooderman’s dad uncle thing. So yea basically there’s this really frustrating love square in which Marinette likes Adrian but he thinks of her as a friend. Adrian likes Ladybug, Marinette’s other identity, and she likes him too bc he’s cinnamon roll. Adrian’s other identity, Chat Noir (yes that is French for black cat), likes Ladybug but she doesn’t like him back bc she likes Adrian. And then there’s this thing with Marinette and Chat Noir that I ship. SPOILER ALERT!!!! *So this whole frustrating love square would be at ease if there was a stupid revealed, but they won’t do that until season two* END OF SPOILER ALERT!!!! I really like this show and hope u guys found this interesting. I tried to keep it brief but of course explaining a book or movie is like explaining a math equation which I don’t like. So I hope that after reading this u guys watch the show and become Miraculous fans like me!
