There was a girl who was at school and decided to drop into her friend’s conversation. They were taking about something-but she couldn’t tell. She listened and realized they were talking about musicals, books, and other stuff. She couldn’t understand what they were saying, so she just sat there and listened, for what they were saying sounded interesting. So when she got home she googled some of the stuff they were saying and found one website-TUMBLR.  What could this mean? She thought long and hard and finally- her friends had Tumblritis! They had been on Tumblr too long, leaving them with weird mindsets (or just 14 year old girl mindsets) and it finally hit her- she was the odd one out!

It wasn’t a bad thing they had Tumblritis-oh no. It was that she didn’t fit in! She tried her hardest listening day and night-to those musicals Hamilton and Heathers. She tried her best to like them but- she just couldn’t. She gave up on that and decided to read the books they were talking about- Percy Jackson and more. But she just couldn’t do it-those books were a bore. She had it! This was the last straw! She decided to look for some inspirational quotes. But all of them- even the ones her friends found sounded so cheesy. She gave up, and went to school with a frown, and whenever they talked she would listen but never understand what they were rambling about, so all she heard was gibberish. But she didn’t want to give! So she inspired herself and talked about stuff she liked! But they only ever responded with,”Oh I don’t watch/play/read that.” She just couldn’t do it, so she decided to play by their rules and just sit there with a fake smile and listen to what they had to say. It made her more sad every time she had to sit through their conversations. But she just needed to get through school one way or another. Besides they were her friends! She couldn’t be without them anyway!  A few weeks past- it was summer- she was having a blast! She loved being alone! That’s when she realized- everyone was different, and that’s ok! She could talk about her interests and be herself with her online friends! She could have a group of real life friends and a group of online friends to talk about her interests with! So yes as the girl types her friends are probably reading this thinking “What the heck Kristen.” But now they know how I felt at school when I had to be left out.

Sorry I just had to get my feelings out. Idc how cheesy or how badly written it was that’s just my side of the story.
